Hi, I’m Isabel Couceiro. I’m a Boston-based painter who brings a warmth, energy, and love for sentimental moments to every wedding I paint. After spending countless hours alone in a studio, I decided to leave the gallery world in search of connection, celebration, and travel, and wedding painting called my name.

My love for elevated celebrations traces back to my roots as a Portuguese-American. My time as a debutante in Portugal, immersed me in a world of tradition, beauty, and ceremony. Surrounded by grand settings, flowing gowns, and an atmosphere rich with meaning, I was captivated by the artistry of the moment. It was there that I created her first painting inspired by a celebration, marking the beginning of my passion for event painting. What started as a personal expression has since evolved into a practice devoted to capturing the magic, elegance, and emotion of life’s most meaningful occasions.

Classically trained in realism at the Florence Academy of Art and The Atelier De Arte Realista in Porto, I bring technical precision and a love of craft to every painting. My personal work has been exhibited in galleries across the US, London, and South Korea, and has now spanned to commissioned weddings internationally, where I capture movement, fabrics, and florals in real time. With experience working in galleries and arts organizations, I blend professional rigor with creative vision. A lifelong performer in music, theater, and film, I bring warmth, charisma, and ease in front of crowds, making each live painting a dynamic, engaging experience for couples and guests alike.
